- The SRM 1000 comes prepared for handsfree operation and will automatically set to handsfree mode if the handset or microphone is on hook.

- The SRX01 kit transforms a SRM mobile into a desktop base station. The kit is a mounting cabinet and a power supply and an optional battery pack charged by the base station.

- The motorcycle version can be used with most makes of motorcycles.
- Particular emphasis was given to ease of use and safety of the rider.

Intelligent Battery
- A 1600 mAh NiCd alternative to the basic battery provides 10 hours endurance based on a 5% Tx, 20%Rx and 75% standby duty cycle for a 3 W radio or 15 hours for a 1W radio. The battery has a built-in processor that provides an indication on the radio display of the remaining talk time based on the actual usage.

Remote Speaker Mic
- The RMS has a tough lapel clip and an earpiece. The antenna can be moved from the portable to the RSM if required. Buttons on the RSM are PTT, volume and alarm and another button provided for customization.
