MODULAR INTERCONNECT SYSTEM - ACU-1000
With the JPS ACU-1000 Modular interface/interconnect system, an intelligent interconnect system can be configured to meet almost any interface application involving telephones and radios. The system is suitable for HF, Land Mobile radio, and Satcom systems and offer essentially unlimited applications and expandability.
Adding a new communications format to the system can be as simple as plugging in the appropriate interface module and connecting the new equipment to the ACU-1000 backplane.

MODULAR INTERCONNECT SYSTEM - ACU-T
Portable and Compact version of the ACU-1000. It accomodates one Local Operator and up to 5 telephone and radio interfaces. Local Controler display and battery input.

NETWORK EXTENSION UNIT NXU-2A
One of the JPS VoIP family products, the NXU-2A connects communications equipment to a digital network using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology. It is intended for use with radio communications consoles, communications radios, and JPS products such as the ACU-1000 Interconnect Unit and the SNV-12 Voter.
The NXU-2A is a general-purpose stand-alone device that interfaces two channels of voice audio, one RS-232 port, and four status bits onto an Ethernet network. A pair of NXU-2As can form a simple system that creates transparent communications link between the two. The unit at the far end is the server, the one at the near end client. The audio, RS-232, and status bits appear to be simply extended between the server and client.

PRE/POSTSELECTOR PPS-100
The PPS-100 Pre/Postselector permits operation of co-located receivers and transmitters on frequencies separated by as little as 10%. When used with receivers, the unit functions as a preselector, providing an additional front end selectivity stage. This reduces the receiver desensitization and overload that would normally occur in the presence of strong adjacent RF transmissions.
The unit is used as a postselector with transmitters. It rejects spurious outputs and broadband noise in the transmit signal before it reaches the power amplifier, thereby limiting interference to neighboring receivers. The PPS-100 performs both functions with a transceiver; it follows the radio’s keyline and switches between the preselector and postselector modes.

SIGNAL/NOISE VOTING – SNV-12
The SNV-12 is a modular receiver voting system which uses individual Digital Signal Processing (DSP) channels to measure the signal-to-noise ratio of received signals for fast and optimum determination of the best received signal. The unit accomodates from 2 to 12 receiver Site Voter Modules in a chassis and interfaces easily with standard dispatch consoles.
